They're The Same Thing!
I've played both games on mobile; both titles have extremely similar gameplay and audience attention, the only question need answering however, which video game makes best! Hello I'm senior editor L3GNAA, and I'm here to answer one simple question, Which similar mobile title is better: Player Unknown's Battlegrounds, or Fortnite Battle Royale?
My Journey
I initially started with PUBG, as I was generally curious as too what all the hype around this game was about. Since as we all know the retail version of the game has a price tag on it, a hindrance for most gamers if any. As soon as the mobile version hit the store I quickly downloaded it, experiencing a gameplay experience like no other. With a large map and vehicles, I quickly picked up on the mechanics and got so many Chicken Dinner's! With such a great concept, I was excited to try out the Fortnite app after the invitation-only was lifted, and I'm happy to say it's just as good. Although both games operate in the same genre, the way that they go about it have distinct styles of their own.
One Is Better
Look... I enjoyed both a lot, but one title simply spoke more to me than the other, yet that isn't to say they both don't have their problems. In PUBG, the framerate can take a huge hit after just one prolong match, especially when going around in vehicles with cooperative allies. In Fortnite, cooperation was non existent for me as most players tend to go off on their own making quick work of the building mechanics. And although PUBG unfortunately has the strange aspect of bots, making matches feel a bit unearned, I found myself playing PUBG a little bit more than I did Fortnite.
There is Champion
Even though I ended up playing PUBG just a tad more than Fortnite on mobile, that doesn't mean PUBG is necessarily a better mobile port than Fortnite. For you see reader, in terms of determining the better overall video game, one is clearly a better download. I enjoyed the serious nature of PUBG, each match felt better than the last. I also had a fun time with Fortnite, each kill felt earned and totally worth downloading again if it would only come to Nintendo Switch!
