Dementium Remastered (review)

A horror game for any device is always a delight, however, the fact that this game came out for the 3DS sorta gives it a certain "je ne sais quoi" plus if you've got 3DS with a right thumb-stick my god it actually adds a layer of immersion to the title, provided of course if you turn down the movement to the slowest setting. Now with the only good aspect out of the way, I can plunge-deep about how bad this game is. First of all, if you are a heavily-experienced gamer perhaps this game may be up to pare, as is contains terrible enemy-placement, as-well-as a horrible save/health system. There were far to many close-calls were if I didn't strategically know where the closet energy pills were before saving, I could have been completely screwed! And if you think the mechanics were a pain for "moi" you wouldn't believe how insane the puzzles in this game were for me, even when cheating for them online I still had no idea how the outcomes were achieved 😕. On the upside the game is passable, and to some extend actually does give off an atmosphere of dread. So in short the game is far from perfect, but if you're into scary video games and so happen to have a 3DS, maybe worth a purchase.
