Pocket Morty's (review)

If you like the turn-base mechanics of Pokemon, plus the hit TV show Rick and Morty, then oooh-weee! is this the mobile game for you. For a free downloadable cellphone game this title ain't bad, although there many irks with the video game, Pocket Mortys is a well deserved look at any fan of the series. Now let's talk about my full experience from start to finish... because I just deleted it ๐Ÿ˜Š
Fan service is this games middle-name; as Pocket Mortys will fling at you reference-after-reference of characters and nods to the show, while many are chuckling-hilarious, some could come off as a bit lackluster-ed. Since the entire premise of the game is to use Mortys from different dimensions to battle each other, it comes off as a bit daunting when a lot of the Mortys aren't up to par as some others. However, when you progress through the game you come to realize that's okay, because there are still a multitude of (82) Mortys that were given special design treatment.
The graphics are silky smooth and the comedy is everywhere, the problem with this game lies in its full-length fun factor. The app is to straight forward. It takes a minute to get the hang of things, but once you get the ball rolling repetition sets in. Even with multiplayer the game sets a train/ fight your Morty motion. However; that being said, there is quite a bit here, I'm sure you put in more time in the game than I have, certainly a bigger fan than I will have a swell time. ๐Ÿ“ฑ
