My Top Three Zelda Games

 The Legend of Zelda is by far my Favorite video game series of all time. I played Legend of Zelda since I was a little kid and Link's Awakening was the first video game I ever played. Zelda and I go a long way the series has always been a part of my life. The Zelda series is arguable one of the best video game series only rivaled by other great series such as Final Fantasy and Super Mario. Within the series I do have favorites and here are my top three Zelda games.

#3. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

   This game just came out not too long ago and it is already one of my favorite Zelda games. The world is vast and fun to explore and there is so much to do in this game. It is truly the best open world game I have played in the recent generation of games. There is so much to do and you can do anything you want. You can play this game for 100+ hours and still not be bored. The best way to play it is with the pro hud mode on and taking your time.

#2. The Legend of Zelda  (nes)

   

   Since I was born in the 90's, I did not get to play this game until I was much older. Before playing this game I thought Zelda games were all very linear, which isn't a bad thing. Once I played this game I found out how much more fun it is to be able to do anything in any order. The first time I played this game was on the Wii virtual console. At first glance this game felt too cryptic and boring, but my love for Zelda kept me going. This game did not disappoint. The payoff was great because of the difficulty and I really recommend playing this game without a guide. Doing so makes the journey all the more rewarding. The reason this is higher on the list than breath of the wild is because this game is the start of it all so it gets some bonus points. 

#1. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

   Twilight Princess has to be my number one. I have very fond memories of playing this game on the gamecube. I really love this game it has the most memorable characters and they are also likeable. Usually Link has annoying side character telling you what to do but in this game Midna actually helps. She is an amazing character with actual motives. This game also has the best Final boss. There are four stages to Ganondorf. The first is a possessed princess Zelda, then you fight the beast Ganon, then you fight Ganondorf on on horse back, and finally you fight Ganondorf one on one. It is an amazing sword fight.
